Basically, any leather can be washed with Leather & Fur Wash Concentrate in the washing machine or by hand. With the right temperature and washing according to the instructions, your leather will become clean again, stay soft and will not shrink.

250 ml of leather wash concentrate is enough for one or two washes. If leather is washed more frequently, the litre container can also be used.

Always observe the following:

Soak heavily stained or soiled leather (collars, cuffs, lapels) in a hand bath and carefully pre-treat with a soft brush and leather detergent.

When combining different coloured leathers or leather-textile mixes or light-coloured linings and other coloured leathers, discolouration cannot be ruled out. In this case, always use the leather fixative.

Never wash two different parts together, except for parts of the same colour! Always wash all parts in combinations!

Some leathers are already faded or have traces of use before cleaning. Such previous damage sometimes becomes more visible by removing the dirt after washing.

There are types of leather on the market where dyes are not sufficiently fixed or which are coated with oils or greases. Such leathers become clean by cleaning, but the surface changes.

● Buttons that are not sewn on well or appliqués that are sewn on too loosely must be secured (e.g. turn inside out or hand wash).

● Lambskins with a pure white reverse side sometimes have a washable tanning and harden! Therefore always cut away a small piece first and test wash.
